Cost
The units start at $125 per week and go to $180 per week. The units are very affordable for singles. Although there are no 2 bedroom units, a number are big enough for sharing or couples. Each unit has its own gas/electricity meter and tenants are responsible for this. So you only pay for what you use. By sensible use of such things as air conditioning and heating, students can find that their utilities costs are very reasonable.
Every unit has a phone line so students can connect internet with a provider & plan of choice [student to pay].
There is a bond of 4 weeks rent (refunded in full if the unit is left in very good order & condition and lease agreements are fulfilled) plus 2-4 weeks rent in advance. There is a $30/person and $50/couple or twin share water levy which is payable once/semester regardless of whether the unit is occupied for 1, 2 or 6 months. There is a $15 replacement cost for lost or unreturned keys.
